Introduction: F e a r
The only real fear, is fear itself. Fear is what our brains create in order to avoid the painful truth of everyday reality. Fear can have many meanings, each its own to each person. Fear can be an object, like spiders or needles. Or can be the outcome of a certain event, such as presenting in front of a large group of people or heights, fearing you will fall and die. Fear is an emotional and a physical problem that each person holds deep within their minds and beings. Fear does not go away for most, it is forever living inside of them for their entire life. Though, some do over come fear by confronting it. Fearing, causes us to stall and stay where we are. Fear is what prevents us from moving forward, achieving our dreams and goals. Much like the Journey, there are always conflicts that slow the character from achieving their goal.
My topic for this English Tapestry Project is Fear. The other side to fear is courage. I hope to focus my project on the true meanings of fear, as well as over coming said fear using courage and strength.
The purpose of my writing is to deepen everyone's perspective and understandings of fear, to create a sort of suspenseful atmosphere. I also hope to see what Media and personal connections I can make to fear that will help develop a structure for my tapestry piece. I hope to create a sort of tension, the same tension that fear creates within your mind. I hope to send shivers down my class mates' spines. I would like to figure out how the mine interprets fear then how our bodies react upon our thoughts and feelings of fear.
